As a passionate educator I am committed to sharing knowledge and helping people realise their goals. Always keeping up to date with the latest educational tools to aid me in my quest to be a truly great teacher, I unlock the educational door and let learners in. With an extensive career in the education and e-learning sectors and coordinating a nationwide educational program, I have taught primary children, professionals and parents of school age children. Collaborating with other professionals inspires me to deliver and create resources suitable for teachers in this new era. I have much to offer and am very eager to share my knowledge with all of our schools.

Juli Rush - QLD Training and Product Manager

I have been immersed in ICTs in education in Australia for over 20 years, having been National Education Manager for Acer and Optima, as well as tours of duty with Dell and Apple. Trained as a secondary Maths, Science and ICT teacher, I was also an advisor to Catholic Schools in the Brisbane Archdiocese and Head of IT at two prominent Independent Schools. Since early 2008, I have been dedicated to the use of Promethean products in Australian schools, as a Partner Manager for DH Technologies. I am an accredited Level 3 Training and Resource Developer for Promethean, conducting workshops at schools and conferences, and bring a practical and realistic view of ‘best practice’ involved in interactive classroom teaching.

With my experience as a training and assessor my goal is to show the potentual of the ActivBoard to TAFE and registered training organisations.

I am a dynamic teacher of ICT, maths and science, with 17 years experience both in Australia and Internationally. I have been heavily involved in ICT throughout my teaching career, helping to steer the adoption of an e-learning environment and Promethean IWB’s at my previous school. I have been an integral part of the Empowered Learning team’s successful expansion into Queensland, providing schools with the quality Promethean classroom solution. I am an accredited Level 2 Curriculum Developer who has effectively introduced teachers from a broad range of ICT experience to the benefits of the interactive whiteboard in the classroom. I hold the firm belief that this engaging technology can make learning more accessible to even the most challenging students.
